DigiScoping Eyepiece |
||
Hello Carlo, You may be interested in my feedback. Last week I purchased your Digiscoping Eyepiece for my Kowa scope. I test drove it at the weekend, without a DigiMount Adaptor, and was very impressed with the quality of the images I was obtaining on my camcorder. I immediately ordered a Digimount Adaptor which arrived today ( I wish I had ordered it along with the eyepiece ). I tried it briefly with my digital still camera, at 5.45pm this evening ( it was almost dark ) and given the circumstances, the photographs were exceptional. I must say that this is an impressive combination, which I shall not hesitate to demonstrate and recommend. I am looking forward to much more digiscoping under more favourable conditions. Your service was superb as well. Regards Brian Bray |

Comments from Steve Gantlett ( Editor - Birding World ).... " I've just had an initial play with it and I'm well pleased with it, as I am sure you must be....Initially, I was impressed with the feel of the eyepiece (ie the engineering) and now I'm impressed with the optical quality too. It was obviously a tall order to do optical justice to the likes of the Leica Apo scope, but you seem to have done it. Well done!.......all in all it looks great......" |

Extract from a review of the DS Eyepiece..................by Mr Paul Hackett The eyepiece itself is very well made and the optics of high quality. The image is bright and sharp, when eye viewing there is a very long eye relief......... Using my camcorder I was able to capture images of relatively close-up birds and fit them entirely into the shot, something I could not normally do with my standard 20x eyepiece without experiencing severe vignetting. Most people using a camcorder will benefit from using this eyepiece as will users of many digital still cameras, particularly models with larger lenses which normally experience too much vignetting to make them viable for Digiscoping use. Extract from a review of the DS Eyepiece..................by Birdwatch magazine October 2003 EagleEye OpticZooms has been at the forefront of the development of new products and accessories for digiscopers, and its most recent innovation, the Digiscoping Eyepiece, is set to become another 'must-have' piece of kit........ I found it extremely easy to set up and use and it gave me a much greater level of flexibility over the footage I recorded. The image that the eyepiece produces is crisp and true....... |
