 The eyepieces marked * have a lip on them. Whilst the grip obtained by the DigiMount Adapter when clamped to this ridge area should be sufficient in most cases to provide a very firm attachment, we strongly reccommend that the area next to the ridge be 'build-up' so it is level. This will result in a greater area of grip and therefore provide an even more secure fixing.


The DigiMount Adapter with the Insert Collar in it would normally be fitted by being slid-over the eyepiece and locked in place.

Some eyepieces have a lip on them. For most of these it will not be possible to pass the DigiMount Adapter over this lip with the Insert Collar still in place.

To use these particular eyepieces with the DigiMount Adapter the Insert Collar should first be removed from the DigiMount Adapter outer body and slid over the eyepiece. The eyepiece with the Insert Collar attached should then be fitted to the scope.

The DigiMount Adapter outer body can then be slid over the eyepiece, fitted onto the Insert Collar and securely locked into place.

For convenience, it will probably be best to leave the Insert Collar permanently fitted around the eyepiece on the scope so that the DigiMount Adapter can be easily fitted and removed when needed.
